This was our home all last week…

We traveled out to Vegas area for Tater to attend a surgical assist class. He didn’t want to be out there all week alone, so we took the whole crew. We enjoyed a different change of pace and while Tater was in class all day everyday, we did a lot of this…

Sleeping in and taking long naps were wonderful! The pool was fantastic, and the days were warm. It was a bit difficult getting everyone on the same sleeping schedule in one room with the time switch and all. By the end of the week we finally were there. I quickly made it a rule that if you woke up from your nap early and every one was still sleeping, you could not get up until mommy told you to. We wanted the kids to stay up later so we could enjoy our evening together as a family and at first it was a tough transition. By the end of the week, we had them staying up till 10 which was midnight back home. Yikes - thankfully the switch back hasn’t been too rough.

We managed to keep busy in our hotel room…

Now the days did get long without Tater. Being in a casino and strange area with 4 kids on my own was definitely different, but I am so glad that we went with him. Our family times at night were really fun! Here are snapshots of the rest of our week there:

Wouldn’t you say? He is the oldest with 4 younger sisters, but he is so wonderful with them! They are a bunch of great kids!! We have fun photographing them! It is fun to see how they have changed through the years. Take a look HERE and HERE.
