We have been blessed by having two little nieces born these past few weeks, and here is one of them. Introducing Anya Noelle:

We seriously couldn’t get enough of her. Since we haven’t posted in awhile, we’ll give you a little update on what we’ve been up to…

Travels: At the beginning of January we were able to attend Imaging USA in Nashville, TN. We had a lot of fun being able to get away, get ideas, and see our photography friends. We really enjoyed our time together, and we are looking forward to another photography trip this March to see the fabulous work of Simplicity Photography.

Family: Along with the excitement of our new nieces, our expectant birth is starting to feel more real. We finally had our first dr. appt. this week at 16 weeks and got to hear the heartbeat. The sickness has also finally disappeared for the most part and life has begun to feel normal again. No more laying on the couch most of the day. Yay!

Business: It is exciting getting back into photographing after taking our extended Christmas break. 2010 sessions have begun, and we are loving it! On a side note: We feel we are constantly changing our style. We continue to evolve with our taste as artists together and as a married couple. It is said to NOT change your logo once you have one. I think we have changed ours about 4 times in the past 2 years. This new logo represents us a whole lot more and who knows, maybe will keep it… that is if we don’t change too much. ;)

The new look:

We got a lot of great products shown below… Gallery wrapped canvases, standouts, wall portraits, our custom designed Luxe Album, Christmas cards, and gift prints. We love when the delivery service leaves gifts for our clients at our doorstep. It is a joy to see the finished art products and place them in our clients hands.

In the first two weeks newborns go through a really sleepy stage which makes for fun photo shoots. So if you are thinking we are going on Briana picture overload, you are right and there are more to come. :) She is already changing daily, and we don’t want to miss a thing. We know how quickly we will forget this newborn stage.

How are we adjusting to 3?

It is quite busy, but it is going well. As of now, she is only waking up 1-2 times a night. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that that continues.

Within the first five minutes of Tater leaving for work for the first time, I had all 3 needing me all at the same time. Briana was crying because she was ready to be nursed, Elle woke up from her nap and wanted me to come get her out of her big girl bed, and then I heard Landon’s voice from the bathroom yelling, “I’M DONE!” I had to smile… who do I go to first? Yes, things are busy, but we are enjoying every moment of it!

As many of you know, we are still here with no baby news. We are a week overdue and keep dreaming of our little one’s arrival…

If I have not gone on my own by Friday, they will induce me then. Thank you to everyone who has been wondering if our newborn has arrived. We also appreciate your prayers. It means a lot! We can’t wait to share our news with you…

We have a lot marked off of our things to do list, and we are ready for our new little one to arrive. I have been nesting a lot this past month and have finally slowed down these past few days. The anxiousness and excitement are here and the belly is getting tight. This is how far we have gotten these past few weeks…

Here are some pictures since we have been neglecting our blog. This is Elle in her new big girl bed. It is a twin day bed with a trundle which makes it taller than I thought it would be. We did put a bed rail up ;) She adjusted well even though I still worry about her getting out by herself.

She looks so tiny in this bed.

Landon also did well when we switched him to his new room.

Our sleeping boy. Aren’t kids so fun to watch when sleeping?

On a side note: For those who are subscribed to our blog, there are a few problems that we are working out. So if you have not been receiving our updates, we hope to fix that shortly.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We’ll let you know when our big news is here!    :-)

We had a wonderful day… We did the pumpkins you see above, made a pumpkin dessert, listened to music, and had the windows open. It was great!

In the evening we dressed up and went to Morton for trick or treating and got lots of candy.

Elle was a butterfly. She was given a costume that one of her cousins had worn last year.

This is the grin we get from her lately (especially after putting food on her highchair). The girl loves to eat.

A few weeks ago Landon saw his cousins all dressed up in their Transformer costumes. He had never heard of Transformers before but once he saw them all dressed up, he thought they were the coolest. Later his aunt surprised him and bought him one for his own. He was so excited about wearing his costume. He now wants to wear it all the time.

What else have we been up to lately?

We just finished our last session for this year. We look forward to starting up again in February. Thank you to all of our 2008 clients who have made this past year so great!

Our baby is nearly a month away from being here so we are getting ready for that. We can’t wait!

We are in the final stages of finishing our basement. We should be all done in the next few weeks. The studio details will have to wait until after the baby is born, but we have a lot of great ideas and things we are wanting to do with that.

Please continue to check back as we will still be posting on our blog.
