We thrive on doing projects and usually always come up with something to work on… whether that includes an update around the house, an idea for the business, or… 

Our latest project we just finished was a display of our art work at one of our local hospitals. A lot of long days, really nights, has finally paid off.

We had 40 of our images printed and framed them to brighten the hospital hallways. This has been such a fun project because we have been able to be creative and really choose the images we feel will touch the lives of others. There has been an overwhelming response to the facelift these pieces have given to their new space. Here is a taste of what we have done… 

We want to wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day! Here are our kids sporting their new spectacles. They had been begging for glasses for awhile because they wanted to look like grandpa and grandma. They aren’t real, so don’t let them fool you.  ♥ Enjoy the day with your loved ones!!! ♥

Our other little niece, Willow Rose, made her appearance on Tater’s birthday. We absolutely love her! Everytime we look at these tiny new lives, we are reminded of God’s miraculous works.

More baby love…

Little Jade Marie is such a sweet little newborn. She was born weighing 6 lbs. and 1 ounce. Newborns don’t stay little for long, so holding her in our arms was so fun! She was such a sleeper and let us try all kinds with her. We had a blast with her and her family. Also check out her adorable little brothers below. These boys were so obedient, polite and fun to be with. This family is beautiful both inside and out, and we had a wonderful time photographing them!

We couldn’t forget about Charlie… He’s part of the family too.

What a joy it was to be able to photograph this family.  They were awesome, and this little man is such a stud. This mom was so excited about this session and had been planning on it for months!!  We loved the enthusiasm, and it really shows in these images.  Enjoy your beautiful images.

We have been blessed by having two little nieces born these past few weeks, and here is one of them. Introducing Anya Noelle:

We seriously couldn’t get enough of her. Since we haven’t posted in awhile, we’ll give you a little update on what we’ve been up to…

Travels: At the beginning of January we were able to attend Imaging USA in Nashville, TN. We had a lot of fun being able to get away, get ideas, and see our photography friends. We really enjoyed our time together, and we are looking forward to another photography trip this March to see the fabulous work of Simplicity Photography.

Family: Along with the excitement of our new nieces, our expectant birth is starting to feel more real. We finally had our first dr. appt. this week at 16 weeks and got to hear the heartbeat. The sickness has also finally disappeared for the most part and life has begun to feel normal again. No more laying on the couch most of the day. Yay!

Business: It is exciting getting back into photographing after taking our extended Christmas break. 2010 sessions have begun, and we are loving it! On a side note: We feel we are constantly changing our style. We continue to evolve with our taste as artists together and as a married couple. It is said to NOT change your logo once you have one. I think we have changed ours about 4 times in the past 2 years. This new logo represents us a whole lot more and who knows, maybe will keep it… that is if we don’t change too much.

It was a year ago our baby little girl was born.

Here are some images from her birthday photo shoot. The poor little thing woke up from a nap on her birthday with a 102 temp, so she wasn’t quite herself… but was definitely a trooper and loved her cake when it was set in front of her.

Despite her not feeling quite right, we kept her party scheduled. (Thanks to all the family who came and braved the sick zone - She is doing great). Her party  ideas came from Hostess {with a mostess}. We love this site. You can download your own papers here (we tweaked ours a bit). Her cake was made by Janet’s Cakes, and it was SO yummy.

This little girl has brought us so much joy, snuggles, and love… Happy Birthday Briana Skye, we love you baby girl!

This month we are celebrating our 2 year mark! It was two years ago when our business became official and this adventure began. We are thankful for times we’ve had and all the new people we’ve met! These past two years have been a lot of fun and filled with many blessings. We wish to thank all of you who have supported us!
